I just thought I'd post this song that Amy sang to me right after she woke up from a nap.  I sware, it takes her about ten minutes untill she's actually awake (and fully conscious of what she's doing).  I'm glad that her subconcious self is such a happy person.  I hope she's not mad at me for putting this on.

Sweet Heart Dinner

I wanted to make a special dinner for Benjamin on our 10 month Anniversary and for Valentines Day. I a fancy invitation. He was supposed to RSVP to the owner of the fancy resturaunt (my sister). I was just going to do it at our home, then I got the idea to try to do it in the Jungle Greenhouse on campus. When that didn't workout I decided to go out to my parent's house to make the food and set up. I was running out of time, I hadn't started cooking, and Benjamin still hadn't RSVP'd. I was frustrated and Benjamin was confused becuase he didn't even get the invite. I was about to give up and just make a dinner to take home. My sweet brother Riley took over. He recruted Emily and Joseph, my other siblings, and they turned the bonus room where Riley's band practices into an amazing dinner for two. He used things around the house, the fun V Day decorations I had brought, and sheets. He covered up the instruments and exercise stuff, put little flickering electric candles everywhere. Brought up chairs and a table cloth. Covered the lights with red crape paper to give the light a red pink hue. It was beautiful. the flowers Benjamin brought topped it off wonderfully. Michael Buble was playing in the background. We had Sangria in big goblets with heart shaped ice cubes and heart curly straws. I made pesto-basil stuffed tomatos, and shrimp pasta. Riley cooked most of it. I used the leftover salad my family ate at dinner. Emily made a blueberry, blackberry, pudding parfait with heart and lips sprinkles. They quickly served the food and left us to be alone. They were amazing. They seriously whipped it all together in 30 minutes. I really love my brothers and sister. Thanks for saving the day, Riley! We love you!

LaPizzeria!!! A fun, cheap date!

Benjamin and I had a BLAST last Monday. We went out to eat at La Pizzeria in Rigby, Idaho. It is a mix between food from Argentina and Pizza. We spent around 12 dollars total and got:

A GINORMOUS calzone with artichoke hearts, ranch sauce, mushrooms, and marinated chicken inside! We got to choose 4 toppings and a sauce. We picked random toppings just to be crazy and it was delicious!!! I loved it!

A huge plate of the best cheesy bread sticks ever!!! The bread was delicious with herbs and cheese and two dipping sauces: ranch and marinara. If you go there, they are a must!

A big basket of curly fries.

And a fried cheesecake stick thing with ice cream.

We were so full and it was way better than we expected! They also have a pizza/salad/soup buffet like Craigos. And their famous Bambinos (Argentine Empanadas with pizza toppings inside.) Its just on Main Street in Rigby.

Happy Birthday To Amy Jolene and Jolene

I am so luck to have such a sweet grandma to share my birthday with!!! Happy Birthday Grandma Jolene! Yay for February 26!

This is the picture my little nephews (thanks to abe and chelsea) sent me while Benjamin was on his mission. It was a bold statement. I wasn't their aunt then, and there was a chance I never would be. Boy, am I glad that their prediction was right. I sure love them! And I sure love their parents, Abe and Chelsea! Most of all, I love my sweet Benjamin!

Look at the cute necklace that my sister-in law Chelsea gave me for my birthday! She makes the cutest necklaces out of scrabble pieces, modge podge, bails, and cute paper (and other things.). This one is made from glass instead of a scrabble piece. I love it! I made some around Christmas, but I haven't finished them yet, I'll post them soon! Thanks Chelsea!!!

And to top it off I got the most beautiful drawings from my adorable nieces Amberlee and Autumn Stewart in Moscow, Idaho! Thanks Girls!

A Book Club!!!

I have always wanted to be a part of a book club. I love to read and I finally am part of a monthly book club with some of my friends in relief society. they are such sweet girls and I love that we can all share a common intrest and learn from each other. Our first book is called The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. I haven't checked out or bought the book yet. I don't know much about it, but I am excited to read it. I'll let you know how it goes!

My Sweet Peach

Benjamin and Emily building models of molecules with an organic chemistry model set.

I love my little sister Emily sooooooooooo much! She is so special to me. We all call her Peach because when she was born her hair stuck straight up all over her head and it was so thin and blonde. It looked like peach fuzz! And because she is so sweet! She was born when I was 10 after two brothers. I love Riley and Joe a ton, too. I just needed a sister, too. She is my best friend. She has such a kind and sweet heart. She is so willing to help people. She is very funny and witty. She loves science and hates math (Helen Stewart is her 5th grade teacher right now and is great to do lots of experiements. Emily loves it.) Benjamin is always trying to do a new science experiment with her. She is amazing with animals. She has 6 chickens and takes care of them better than anyone else. She takes horse riding lessons when the weather is warm. She is so good arts and crafts. She has a lot of patience. She just started learning the piano and she is doing such a great job! I love you, Peach!

My New Mixer

Spiral Ham Glaze

Pizza Dough

My wonderful wonderful wonderful mixing machine! I love it so much! It is so compact and it works so great! I love it! I use it all the time. For Christmas Benjamin got me a Bosch mixer. Our cousin Kimery Whiting helped out (she works at a Bosch store!) Thanks Kim! check out my cooking blog to see some of the fun things I've made with it!
