Merry Christmas and Happy 10 Months

Stella is 10 months today! Isn’t she a cutie?

 

Stella at 10 Months:

Favorite Food: Bananas, diced sweet potatoes, avocados.

Favorite toys: Lift the flap books

Favorite Song: Pop Corn Popping (She does some of the actions)

Words: Mamma, Dadda, Mom, Dad, Daddy, Mommy, ha ha ha, nana, hey, hi, oh, ya.

Animal sounds: Monkey (ha ha ha), Bear ( a funny little growling noise), Santa (a ho ho ho that sounds a little bit like a ha ha ha, but lower pitch than her high pitch monkey cackle).

She can: Wave, sign language for more, stand while holding on to furniture or my leg, shake her head no, flap her arms like a bird, blow raspberries, pat her mouth with an open palm to make a “wa wa wa” sound, hand things to people then take them back over and over, high five, and try to feed me and Benj.

She loves to wrestle me when I’m on the floor. She likes to poop in the bath tub. She sleeps 12 hours solid at night. She has 6 teeth and she is fascinated with biting me and Benj. She is 30 inches tall and 23 pounds. She is in the 100 percentile in height, 99 percentile for head size, and 93 percentile for weight. She is our sweet tiny giant. We love her so.

Circle S Farms Pumpkin Patch

In October Stella and I had the opportunity to take a trip to the Circle S Pumpkin Farm. A friend, Janis, took her family and an got the group rate and invited everyone in the ward to take advantage of her group rate. For $6 we got a pumpkin doughnut and apple juice, access to the whole farm and all the activities, a hayride, and a pumpkin! We met up with some other friends who were taking advantage of the group rate and we all had a blast! To any Ohio friends who are considering going next year: Go on a weekday and try to get other people to go so you can get the group rate.

Stella was in HEAVEN. I love taking her to fun places even though she is too young to do many of the activities because she just loves the sunshine and the other kids. We were there for hours and she missed a whole nap and the smile still never left her little chubby face.

This was her face almost the whole time. She was so excited.

These pictures crack me up! She is hilarious.

There was this awesome play area that was basically a barn filled with hay for the kids to run around in and climb up.

Stella loves her friends.

And there were slides!!!

There was also a hay maze for kids and a little goat petting zoo. I didn’t get pictures of the goats, but Stella loved them!

Stella was pretty fascinated with the hay.

Stella is pretty pleased with the pumpkin we picked out.

What a fun place. We are definitely going back next year!
