Sunday Walk at the Park

I am so excited to share these pictures. Almost a month ago we went on a walk to the park of roses and had a blast. Stella was being so adorable and we just couldn’t help snapping some pictures. She is so full of life and curiosity. She is a pretty neat little person.

She loves to hold on to her toes.

This dog was pretty excited to see Stella. He was so sweet and gentle with her and she thought he was pretty cool, too.

Stella goes through little mini stages where she gets obsessed with doing one thing over and over for about 3 days. She has gone through screeching, squealing, cackling, fake coughing, making an “a-goooo” sound phases. On this particular day she was really into making a funny little pucker and making spit bubbles. It was pretty funny. She looked like this:

She just adores her daddy. They get quite silly together.

My sister Emily is a horse girl. In Idaho she has a pretty horse named Rain. She has taken years of riding lessons. When she was little she watched Spirit and Dreamer over and over again. We just knew we had to take her to some horse races at the Church Hill Downs in Kentucky. It was fun to see all the races, although it really scared Stella when everyone would yell and cheer for their horses. I would have to hold her close and calm her down after each race, but other than that, she enjoyed herself!

Emily and I wanted one of the cool hats sooooo bad! It would have been so cool to wear a fancy Kentucky Derby hat, but they were SPENDY! So we just tried them all on in the gift shop. There were some really cool hats!
